Gordon Ramsay is going to be a game show host for a new ‘high intensity’ competition for the BBC.

This will be the first time Ramsay takes on a hosting role for ‘Bank Balance’ which will air on primetime BBC One, as he steps away from his documentary-style cooking shows.

Bank Balance has been described as high-stakes and high-pressure, as the contestants will test their poise, precision, knowledge, and nerve to rack up their cash prize. However, if they fail, they could stand to lose it all.

Ramsay said, “This is going to be truly epic. It is such an intense game with so much jeopardy to win big and loses even bigger, where the difference between failure and success is always in the balance. I’m so happy to be working with the fantastic team at the BBC and cannot wait to get in the studio and start stacking those gold bars!’

He will still be continuing with his cooking show and will also be seen traveling across the world to rural areas to try different local cuisines. He has also been reportedly approached for a multi-million pound deal with TikTok for short-form recipe videos.
