Produced by producer Rymez (Bugzy Malone, Headie One, Stefflon Don, Kamille), the track feeds off a heavy bass line with Stefflon Don delivering a deep, sensual verse incorporated with a combination of English and Jamaican patois. While Yxng Bane boldly glides over melodic, rhythmic lines as he delivers his distinctive sound.
On Yxng Bane’s YouTube page, the bunch celebrate the release by unveiling the stunning visuals for “Birthday,” shot by award-winning director Kevin Hudson
Speaking of the music video in an exclusive behind the scenes with MTV, Kevin Hudson described how the video concept was produced by using “loads of colours, big bold shapes, balloons, disco balls, lots of frills, lots of glitter, everything to do with a Birthday!”.
