Tinashe has released “Too Easy,” her first original material since Quantum Baby in 2024. Co-produced by Kimj and Zack Sekoff, the track first premiered live during her DJ set at Coachella’s Do LaB in April and reflects on the feeling of navigating fame with a kind of ease.

Quantum Baby was a strong record for Tinahse, with her track “Nasty,” becoming one of the more talked-about R&B songs of recent years, receiving critical-acclaim. Additionally, another offering on the project, “No Broke Boys,” became her highest-charting Billboard Hot 100 entry to date. Two years between releases is not long by any measure, but given the momentum that album carried, “Too Easy” arrives with some expectation behind it.
