Following in the success of his previously released ‘Jump Off’ single, Kalpee has released yet another promising track, dubbed ‘Island Gyal.’
The Trinidad and Toboggan artist, who is assisted by Grammy Award-winning producers, is looking to tout a new rising genre called “New Calypso” which currently has amassed an impressive international audience.
The accompanying music video for ‘Island Gyal,’ which was shot in his home nation of Trinidad and Toboggan, is a visual celebration of the Caribbean, carnival energy, and the essence of island life.
