Nigerian rising star, Winny has just unveiled her debut single, “Pretty,” which is co-written by Jesse Zagi and Kingsley Cyprian, with production by WodeMagic.

“Pretty,” recorded in the singer’s home studio in Jos, Northern Nigeria, is inspired by a failed relationship and sees the emerging artist convey her deepest feelings via her song, as she sends a message about love and what makes someone feel special.

Winny said of the single, “I wrote ‘Pretty’ to communicate self-love. There’s nobody that can love me like me. I want people to embrace themselves regardless of who they are, what they are, where they come from or what they are going through.”

Winny, whose real name is Winifred Ohili Adanu, is a Benue State native who, with her exceptional vocal abilities and style, manages to merge Reggae, R&B/Soul, and Afro genres, allowing her to produce music that is unique from her peers.

Winny draws inspiration from musicians like as Chronixx, Wizkid, Chris Brown, and Kranium in order to convey love, compassion, self-awareness, and a sense of belonging via her music and lyrics.

Winny’s debut single, “Pretty” is available on all major streaming platforms.
