Ahead of the release of his highly-anticipated debut album, Sam Tompkins has delivered a brand new single to fans, which also serves as the second taste of music from the forthcoming project.

Titled, “Die For Someone,” the track offers a different side to the artist’s diversity as it shows a shift in his music with an uplifting, anthemic pop-edged chorus and Sam’s incredible vocals, emotion, and tenderness.

Sam is heard singing, “You know that feeling where you’re just like: I kinda wanna fall in love but I’m also scared to do it because of what happened last time? Die For Someone is the soundtrack to that feeling.”

After a successful 2022 for Sam Tompkins, this single begins a series of back-to-back releases laid out for 2023, which is expected to culminate with the release of his debut album.

“Die For Someone” follows the release of the first entry from this new chapter, “Lose It All,” at the end of 2022, which debuted at #9 on the UK chart midweeks after garnering over 22 million social media views pre-release, including 12 million global streams, and repetition across playlists.

Sam has received a lot of backing from artists like Justin Bieber, Drake, Elton John, Shawn Mendes, Sam Smith, and many others, and with the release of “Die For Someone,” he is expected to continue working with some of the biggest artists in the world, go on his biggest headline tour to date, perform at a number of festivals, and release his debut album this year.
