As the release date for Cynthia Erivo’s debut album, “Ch. 1 vs. 1,” approaches on September 17, the multi-award-winning diva unveils more songs expected to be featured on the long-awaited record.
The latest of which is her track “Day Off,” which comes just a month after releasing the album’s first single, “The Good” which was critically acclaimed. “Day Off” undoubtedly has a vibe to it, and just like the former, we believe the songstress is up to something huge with her upcoming debut album, and we can’t wait!
Speaking of the new track, Cynthia said: “Day Off” is about “what it would be like if I asked someone to stop working and to take a minute with me to do something—anything. I know what that means. I know that feeling when you’re with someone, you’re both going and going, and then you just stop and take the whole day to spend together.”
