Taking to social media, Durrell Artaze Babbs, better known as Tank shared the shocking news on his hearing loss with followers.
The ‘Please Don’t Go’ singer revealed his current condition in a video shared on Instagram, which sees the R&B veteran delve into his battle with hearing loss.

The 45-year-old revealed: “I’m going completely deaf in my right ear and I’m kinda losing sound in my left,” he said before describing related symptoms and saying, “All of this out of nowhere, don’t know how or why.”
Tank went on to say that he is taking drugs to help with the condition and that he is hopeful considering the lack of a satisfactory reason for why the problem occurred so quickly.
“It still hasn’t given me a reason to give up. It still hasn’t given me a reason to stop feeling like I can do and be everything that I’ve set out to be. The goals are still the same, to be great, to be the greatest.”
Upon the hearing the news, fans took to Twitter to show their support, as many said a prayer with the singer.
Jehovah-Rapha, I come before you and ask for immaculate and permanent healing for Tank. I ask, that all the doctors be given revelation (Jeremiah 33:3) on what is happening to his hearing. I am touching the robe of Jesus and believing he will be healed.
