Presenter Bruce Buffer introduced the groups to viewers which followed soon after with plenty of trash talking between the two groups. Despite the heated showdown, the two groups acknowledged their affection for one another and exchanged hugs.
However, fans aren’t done seeing the two groups perform together. During a conversation with Angie Martinez on Power 105.1, The LOX confirmed that the New York-based groups will also be going on tour together in September, and was also promoted during the Verzuz duel by Cam’ron.
Being a showdown for the history books, fellow musicians and celebrities such Fat Joe and Carmelo Anthony were all in attendance. The heated atmosphere wasn’t all on-screen though, as fans took to social media to express their love for the highly-anticipated Verzuz battle.
