The NFL, Roc Nation, and Pepsi have officially announced the roster for the 2022 Pepsi Halftime Show, and it will be history in the making.
Onstage together for the first time ever will be Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar, who together have swept a total of 43 Grammy Awards and earned 19 No. 1 Billboard albums.

Overall, the program celebrates west coast hip-hop musicians as Los Angeles gears up to host the Super Bowl for the first time in almost 30 years.
Dr. Dre, who has produced tracks and albums for each artist in the lineup, said of the forthcoming opportunity:
“The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, and to do it in my own backyard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career,” Dr. Dre said in a statement. “I’m grateful to JAY-Z, Roc Nation, the NFL, and Pepsi as well as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar for joining me in what will be an unforgettable cultural moment.”
Jay-Z also said in a statement:
“On February 13, 2022, at the Super Bowl LVI in Inglewood, CA, in the new SoFi Stadium, Dr. Dre, a musical visionary from Compton, Snoop Dogg, an icon from Long Beach and Kendrick Lamar, a young musical pioneer in his own right, also from Compton, will take centre field for a performance of a lifetime.
“They will be joined by the lyrical genius, Eminem and the timeless Queen, Mary J. Blige. This is the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. This is history in the making.”
Also, Pepsi and the NFL have teamed up to support the opening of a magnet high school in South Los Angeles, which is expected to open next fall.
Super Bowl LVI is slated to broadcast live on NBC on Sunday, February 13th, 2022.
