In efforts to increase diversity in Vogue’s workforce, the company has seen some crucial changes which include Edward Enninful being named as Vogue’s European editorial director.

Enninful was previously appointed editor in chief in 2017 and is the first to fill the European editorial director position. He will be part of a larger management group that sees Anna Wintour as Condé Nast’s new global chief content officer and will continue to remain in her roles as global editorial director and editor in chief of American Vogue.

The changes at Vogue comes as a result of a trying year with the company facing racial issues, diversity issues, layoffs, and staff unrest.

Congratulations to Edward Enninful.
