Dre London, who has been Post Malone’s manager for some time, released a statement on Thursday saying that he is creating his own record label in collaboration with software company, Vydia.

Dre London has begun to use his A&R and general music industry experience at London Music Group while Vydia takes on the task of offering supply chain, distribution, rights management, and analytics tools. On Friday 29th Mario and Chris Brown’s joint single “Get Back,” was the first publication to be released.

Dre London, in a post issuing the establishment of his record label, said: “I’m thrilled to partner with Vydia for the creation of London Music Group. Vydia’s work to empower independent music labels opens doors for incredible new artists to emerge, a mission we both share. This new venture will allow established artists to evolve exponentially into the future, as well as introduce top of the line new talent to the world.”

Roy LaManna the CEO of Vydia also added “Dre has an innate ability to discover talent and create superstars on a global level. We’re excited to work with him and provide him the tools he needs across the board to run this new label.”

London shared a statement with Complex saying that, “I chose to partner Vydia because the technology they have built to support music creation over the last few years is incredible.” He also added that he believes it is time to put power and freedom back into the hands of creators, which Vydia is helping to do in a big way.
“This partnership will help fuel the London Music Group label in the creatively-free way I always dreamt it, while we continue to evolve our established artists and create big records, as well as develop emerging acts. Great things are coming.”
