Drake has announced that Certified Lover Boy is finally ready, just a few weeks after disclosing that the album was being mixed.
Speaking on Sound 42’s Fri Yiy Friday’s July 10th show, Drizzy remarked:
“You know, Uncle Drake is back home to mix the album so she’s got a bunch of new tracks coming her way. On my way home to reunite with my dawg and finish this thing up… CLB on the way. On your head top.”
However, last Friday night, the Canadian rapper gave presenters OVO Mark and OVO Noel an update on his long-awaited sixth studio album during an appearance on Sound 42’s Fri Yiy Friday radio show, where he said, “Album’s cooked,” before uttering a cryptic message, “Certified Lover Boy on the way, and that’s for anyone in the way.”

Following his words on the show, some fans took to social media, suggesting the OVO rapper’s remarks about “anyone in the way” referred to Kanye West, who is set to release his highly anticipated 10th album, DONDA, on Friday (August 6).
According to Live Nation, West is to hold another listening party on August 5 at Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium. Per an Instagram post shared by Ye, he is believed to be residing in a changing room at the facility, while finalizing Donda.
The announcement comes after Kanye’s manager, Abou “Bu” Thiam, teased the Kanye West Presents The Donda Album Release event on Instagram, implying that the album will be available for streaming shortly after the listening session.
