According to fresh reports, longtime partner of D.C. Young Fly of “Wild ‘N Out” fame, has passed away at the age of 33.
According to TMZ sources, Jacky Oh, born Jacklyn Smith, passed away in Miami.
The outlet has reported that they do not have complete information regarding the cause of Jacky’s death. However, a since-deleted post on Instagram, suggested that the mother of three had traveled to Florida to receive a “mommy makeover” from a renowned surgeon.
According to TMZ, D.C. was filming new episodes for the Nick Cannon-produced show in Atlanta when he received the news of his partner’s death.
Messages of condolences for the comedian and his family flooded social media after the news broke, including a statement from BET Media Group.
“The BET Media Group extends our sincere condolences to the Smith family, DC Young Fly, B Simone, Nick Cannon, and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time,” the statement read.
In 2015, Jacky and D.C. (whose birth name is John Whitfield) crossed paths on the set of the popular MTV free-form comedy show. At that time, Jacky was starring as one of the “Wild ‘N Out” girls.
Jacky is survived by her three children: two daughters named Nova and Nala, as well as a son named Prince, whom she shares with D.C..
The multi-hyphenate diversified her business interests and pursued other ventures since her time on “Wild ‘N Out.” She launched a lip gloss line named the “J Nove Collection” and also established herself as a realtor in the Atlanta region.
