According to reports, Stormzy has signed with Creative Artists Agency. A move that will see the agency represent the platinum-selling MC all around the globe.

Stormzy’s company #Merky, which comprises his publishing imprint #MerkyBooks and the Merky Foundation, a non-profit that recently contributed £500,000 ($694,000) to finance educational scholarships for kids from underprivileged backgrounds, will also be represented by CAA, according to the announcement.

Stormzy released his first EP, ‘Dreamer’s Disease,’ in 2014 before going on to release his first album, ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’, in 2017 which then impressively broke a standing record for the most first-week streaming for a number-one album in the UK chart history that previously went to Drake’s ‘Views,’ with 13.9 million streams in its first week.

In the same year, ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ received three platinum singles, as well as two BRIT Awards for British Album of the Year and Male Solo Artist of the Year. In 2020, the ‘Own It’ rapper won the award for Best Male Solo Artist for the second time.

In 2019, Stormzy made TIME Magazine’s list of Next Generation Leaders and was featured on the cover of the magazine. The rapper then made history by becoming the first British rapper to headline Glastonbury Festival and is expected to headline two more major UK festivals, Reading and Leeds later this year.
