Craig David is taking Born To Do It back on the road, announcing a new world tour for 2027 celebrating the album that launched his solo career.
The British R&B star revealed the first run of dates following a series of London shows centred around his debut album. According to David, the experience of performing the record with his live band encouraged him to take the concept further.
“I’m so excited to announce I’m bringing my Born To Do It show on tour next year,” he shared. “When my band and I did the London shows together, it felt like something magical.”
The newly announced run will begin in Brighton before heading to Birmingham and a series of dates across mainland Europe. Further countries and shows are expected to be announced.
Released in 2000, Born To Do It became a defining album in David’s career and helped bring the crossover between UK garage and R&B to a wider international audience. The record produced some of his best-known tracks, including ‘Fill Me In’, ‘7 Days’, ‘Walking Away’ and ‘Rendezvous’.
More than 25 years after its release, the upcoming tour will give audiences another opportunity to hear the album performed live as David revisits the music from his breakthrough era.
