Nicole Young, Dr. Dre’s ex-wife, has won a major victory in her bitter legal battle with the music tycoon.
A Los Angeles Superior Court Judge ordered Dre to pay Nicole $293,306 every month, according to court documents, however, the decision is just temporary until a more permanent decision is reached.
According to court documents: “[Dre] is ordered to pay to the [Nicole] spousal support in the sum of $293,306.00 per month, payable on the first of each month, commencing August 1, 2021.” The total amount to be paid per year will amount to $3,519,672 until Nicole remarries or “enters into a new domestic partnership.”
Dre must also continue to pay Nicole’s health insurance, according to the judge.
The ruling comes after Nicole stated in court documents that Dre had $262 million in cash and Apple stock, adding that their monthly living expenditures totaled $2.3 million.
