Following the success of her viral smash “No More Parties,” Coi Leray is preparing to release her debut album in September.

The news comes fresh off the heels of her 2021 BET Awards nominations, where the rapper was nominated for two awards including Best Female Hip Hop Artist which ultimately went to Megan Thee Stallion.

However, Coi fans were the winners here as the rapper was interviewed on the red carpet by Two Bees TV, where she stated that her debut album will be released “in September for sure.”

She exclusively told Miss2Bees, “We had to push it back a little bit because honestly so much stuff has happened. I’ve been working with more and more crazy people, more collabs,” naming artist such as Lil Durk, Pooh Shiesty, Nav, H.E.R., G Herbo, and A Boogie and possibly more to appear on the forthcoming body of work.

Responding to whether she ever felt compelled to have her body done to meet the standard of what a female rapper looks like in 2021, Leray said:

“They’re never gonna stop talking,” she said. “At first it used to get to me then you get to a point where it just blows over you know. Like I don’t care. As long as you’re talking if you’re not talking then we have a problem, right?”
