Chris Brown found himself at the wrong side of his neighbors when he broke COVID-19 restrictions in Los Angeles to celebrate his 32nd birthday with a big bash.

Neighbors were seemingly not amused by the approximately 300 to 500 people who turned up to celebrate, which in turn led to the Los Angeles Police Department receiving several calls about noise and double-parking vehicles.

According to TMZ, police arrived at the party about 2 a.m. local time on Thursday morning to break up the gathering and speak with Brown’s security.

The group was subsequently broken up, with no charges filed but Police gave citations to vehicles that were parked inappropriately.

Speaking to the incident, Los Angeles City Councilman Bob Blumenfield said: “As we’ve made so much progress against Covid-19, we still need to do everything possible to get vaccinated, be responsible and make sure that more people don’t get sick.”

“Even before the pandemic, massive house parties like this have been an issue throughout the city, severely disrupting our communities. But the reality is that we’re still in the midst of this pandemic and irresponsible events like this have the power to create more outbreaks and set back the incredible gains made.”

Currently, Los Angeles County is classified as being in the Yellow Tier of California’s COVID-19 regulations, which mandates that indoor spaces be limited to 50% of its capacity.
