The rivalry between Chip and Stormzy has seemingly resurfaced as Chip released a new diss track dubbed “Clash?,” where the emcee fired shots at Stormzy.
Chip’s ‘Clash?’ comes hours after Dave released his latest track ‘Clash’ which features Stormzy, in which the ‘Audacity’ rapper delivers some heavy bars that appear to subliminally take jabs at Chip.
Speculations suggest that the “bailiff one” verse could be a reference to Stormzy and his mate’s arrival at Chip’s residence in June 2020, which was captured on video and posted by Chip.
After teasing a snippet of the track on social media, the North London rapper has released his version of Dave and Stormzy’s aforementioned track.
Chip begins by rapping: “Everyone raps but say they don’t battle rap/ Any funny lickle chat, Chippy ain’t having that. Yo where the money at, I be in my money bag/ I just looked at my wrist; I got time today.”
Continues: “Air Max or a Air Force One/ Serving racquet, Wimbledon/ Rappers get up and pretend they’re into tennis/ Coconut, sober up/ Contradictions, stop the cab/ You don’t battle rap, why drop and call it ‘Clash’?”
It is official, the feud is certainly back on and we can’t wait to hear what comes next. Stay tuned to YEEEAAH! Network for more as the story develops.
