‘Wap’ is seemingly unstoppable as it keeps attaining new heights each week.
After 65,000 chart sales, including 8.5 million streams, ‘Wap’ surges to #1 on the Official UK Singles Chart.
This will be a first for both female rappers, with Cardi’s closest highest placement being ‘Finesse’ – a collaboration with Bruno Mars which topped at #5.
Also, Megan’s ‘Savage’ peaked at #3 earlier this year. ‘Wap’ becomes the second all-female single to hit #1 in the UK. This feat was previously reached by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s ‘Rain On Me’.
