Calvin Harris is engaged to his girlfriend Vick Hope after the couple confirmed their relationship a few weeks ago.
According to The Sun, the celebrity DJ proposed behind his favourite tree on his Ibiza farm, where he has established roots.
Calvin’s romantic proposal took place a week ago, only five months after the couple met in January. According to their friends, the couple only started dating in April, with Calvin proposing earlier this month. They are currently planning a large wedding on the party island.
An insider told The Sun: “Calvin proposed to Vick under his favourite tree on his farm, Terra Masia in Ibiza.
“Vick said yes immediately, she is madly in love with Calvin and could not be any happier. “
It was also noted that Vick’s ring had been on her finger for weeks, but no one had noticed.
“Of course her Radio 1 colleagues spotted it immediately and it’s been an open secret there. Everyone is so happy for her.
“Vick has been telling people they are going to be getting married in Ibiza. It’s a really special place for them both now and where they want to spend their lives together.
“Vick’s mum is helping her to plan the wedding and they’re already putting together mood boards and plans.” Adding, “It was a shock for some people because it happened so quickly but it is obvious how happy they make each other.”
Calvin is said to have met with Vick’s family in North East England. Vick’s brothers have travelled over to Ibiza with her to spend time with them and begin wedding plans.
According to those close to them, Calvin surprised her with covert trips to his White Isle mansion.
A second source said: “Calvin was flying Vick out to Ibiza on his private jet. It was all very romantic and he really laid out the red carpet.” Adding, “Calvin has found the one in Vick.”
The pair previously tried to distance themselves from rumours of their romance, before being spotted together publicly. During the recent BAFTA Awards, Vick was also spotted with a ring but the pair had yet to reveal their relationship.
Calvin broke things off with ex-girlfriend Aarika Wolfe, following a four-year relationship as a result of difficulties with distance. The 32-year-old DJ has previously been spotted with Taylor Swift, Rita Ora, and Ellie Goulding.
