According to CNN reports, the latest development took place after “their label, Big Entertainment, pulled off South Korea’s biggest stock market listing in three years.”

It is now estimated that all seven members of BTS are officially millionaires as each member owns 68,385 shares in August, this means each member is worth $7.9 million.

This is as a result of the company issuing its shares at 135,000 won ($115) each, raising 962.55 million won ($822 million). The company is currently valued at 4.8 trillion won ($4.1 billion).

Per Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index, Bang is now officially a billionaire, with his worth estimated to $1.4 billion. Bang owns 43% of the agency while gaming company Netmarble Corp owns 25% after investing $172 million two years ago.

Sung Jun-won, an analyst with Investment Corp said, “It seems reasonable to go for the higher price as the prospect for next year’s results seems positive.

Album sales have gone up in the absence of concerts and BTS is at the centre of the ongoing popularity.”

You can say BTS is one of the biggest boy bands in the world right now.
