Bryshere Gray, better known for his appearance on Empire as Hakeem Lyon, pleaded guilty to felony domestic violence.
According to TMZ, Gray pled guilty to “felony aggravated assault and, as part of his plea agreement, he’s been sentenced to 10 days in county jail and 3 years probation.”
Gray was also mandated to pay restitution and complete a domestic violence offender program. Also, for the entirety of his probation, Gray will be required to submit to a drug test and will be prohibited from possessing any weapons or firearms.
Gray is also required to check in with his probation officer 72 hours after which he must contact law enforcement for written approval before having any communication with known felons.
The conviction comes nearly a year after Gray was arrested for domestic violence following a standoff with police SWAT at his Phoenix home.
