It would seem that the ‘Big Racks’ rapper has secured a collaboration with Lady Gaga following rumours.

The emerging British-Ghanaian star appeared on ITV1’s The Jonathan Ross Show last night (May 22nd), seizing the opportunity to announce the collaboration, which fans of both artists have been thirsting for since news of a potential ‘Chromatica’ remix album first circulated.

Bree shared: “I’m going to be on Lady Gaga’s album… I love her. I’ve now got a great relationship with her producer. He put out a tweet teasing the album and I text him and I was like, ‘Why you teasing this album and I’m not part of it..?’ He said, ‘Check your texts, I text you three weeks ago…’ It’s in motion now.”

Bree remained less forthcoming on any more information, but if the project in question is the ‘Chromatica’ remix LP, she’ll be joining the likes of Rina Sawayama and Charli XCX, who are both expected to be involved.

Runway, however, said later on in the interview: “I love making people feel ‘it’. Feeling like macho, 10/10, I’m the 1 not the 2, empowered. Every single time you listen I want you to feel empowered, ‘it’.”

She went on to touch on the relevance of representation, saying: “I feel like a lot of the time in media, darker skin women get counted out a lot. Now I feel like we are being represented more. In my world dark skin women will be front and center.”

We love to hear this!
