In a surprising turn of events during the Ebro in the Morning show, rapper Jack Harlow recently admitted to not having any clue that Brandy and Ray J were siblings, which was truly amusing.

A few days after Harlow’s remark, Brandy took to Twitter to inform the ‘First Class’ rapper that she would fire back by using his own beats.

She said, “I will murk this dude in rap at 43 on his own beats and then sing is ass to sleep.”

Fast forward to some days later, Brandy has delivered on her promise to Harlow by dishing her version of ‘First Class’ and indeed using his beat. Brandy’s version appeared to be a rather soft and calm tempo, which included samples of Fergie’s ‘Glamorous’ track.

The playful track also appeared to be teasing the rapper, as Brandy referenced her still being amongst the best even as she grows older, hinting that Harlow should be more respectful to her.

While the entire skit was just Brandy having some fun, social media seemingly took it out of contest and went wild, with Ebro having to respond on Twitter, saying:

“Yo @HOT97 ya’ll gotta relax! why can’t Brandy just have fun? Stop making this sound like real beef 🤣🤣.”

To confirm that Brandy was only having some fun, we must go back a few days prior to her epic poke at Harlow, wherein the singer replied to a fan’s tweet, asking why it’s taken her days to respond to Harlow’s comment on Ebro.

The Twitter user wrote, “Not you sat on this for a few days and now deciding to reply after it died down it’s not that deep.”

In response, Brandy wrote: “I know I’m mad late… but it was a joke♥️ I didn’t know he rapped so I was just Poking 😂 but I see now this was a big thing a few days ago ♥️”

As of press, Harlow has yet to make a statement concerning Brandy’s poke at him but the ‘Industry Baby’ rapper previously posted a picture of the siblings on his IG Stories while Brandy’s verse on Ye’s ‘Bring Me Down’ played in the back.
