There is hope that Bobby Shmurda might be going home soon, as his parole hearing is slated for August 17th.
Bobby Shmurda pleaded guilty in September, 2016 to conspiracy and weapon possession after a series of arrests in 2014.Following the incident, he was arrested in December, 2014, along with eleven other people as part of a two-year investigation by the NYPD’s Brooklyn South Violence Reduction Task Force and the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor’s Gang Unit.
His earliest parole eligibility date is December 11th. But like many New Your State inmates, his parole hearing has been moved to four months in advance of the initial date. He would be appearing before the Board of Parole, and the board will have two weeks from the date of the interview with the incarcerated individual to render a decision.
