According to the New York Times, Bobby Shmurda inked a management agreement with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation on Friday (August 13).
Speaking with the Times, senior vice president of Roc Nation’s artist management team, Mike Brinkley, said of his early thoughts of Bobby.
“He’ll ask questions, and not just ask, but actually comprehend,” he explained. Meeting him for the first time, you can’t even fathom what he went through because he doesn’t wear it. He’s like, ‘I’m here to work, what do you need me to do?’”
Bobby’s highly anticipated forthcoming album has also been mentioned, with claims that the project will feature appearances from the likes of DaBaby, Migos, and Swae Lee. However, the project’s title and release date have yet to be determined.
