Verzuz took to their social media accounts on Tuesday to surprise its fans with the announcement, stating that Bobby Brown and Keith Sweat are next to face-off in the highly-acclaimed battle show this Thursday, July 1 at 5pm PT/8pm ET.

The showdown will see both artists showcase their respective catalogs. Sweat’s fifth solo studio album, Playing for Keeps, was released in 2018, whereas the New Edition singer’s fifth solo studio album, The Masterpiece, was released in 2012.
The pair’s face-off announcement comes after Bow Wow and Soulja Boy’s anticipated showdown took place last Saturday, with music icons such as Omarion, Jermaine Dupri, Da Brat, Dem Franchize Boyz, and Romeo all in attendance.
