After a difficult and lengthy legal battle between the Kardashians and Blac Chyna, the jury has sided with the family of reality stars and acquitted them of defamation.

During the process of announcing the verdict, the court noticed the absence of the Kardashians with the clerk having to ask their lawyer the whereabouts of his clients. To which he replied, they were “at some gala” in New York.

As widely reported at the time, Chyna sued the Kardashians for $100 million in 2017, accusing them of defaming her and colluding to damage her career by cancelling her reality show with Rob Kardashian.

Throughout their court battle, both sides’ testimony revealed horrific accounts of encounters with the Kardashians, alleging that Chyna was abusive and threatened to kill Rob and Kylie Jenner.

The majority of the testimony provided in court centered around the 2016 incident, which occurred when Chyna was pregnant with Rob’s child and preparing for their reality show ‘Rob & Chyna’ to be renewed for a second season.

According to the Kardashians, Chyna pulled a gun to Rob’s head threatening to kill him before tying a phone cord around his neck. She then allegedly struck him with a metal rod and hurled furniture at his car.

During Chyna’s account of the incident, she claimed she was joking when she put the pistol to Rob’s head and tied the phone cord around him, and also denied assaulting him with the metal rod or hitting his car with the piece of furniture.

Outside the courthouse, Blac Chyna’s mother, Tokyo Toni, appeared to threaten the judge who had thrown her out for bashing Kris Jenner and her children, with TT saying her threat was not towards the judge but rather to Kris and her children.

The Kardashians have yet to issue a statement following their victory in court.
