The 18-year-old rapper “parted ways” with Atlantic Records after nearly four years since signing a deal with the company, according to Variety. Bhabie, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, signed with Atlantic Records in the summer of 2017, approximately a year after becoming famed for her interview on Dr. Phil.

Bhabie has had a somewhat respectable music career since then, collaborating with musicians such as Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Baby, Kodak Black, City Girls, and more, which in turn saw her become the youngest female rapper to debut on the Billboard Hot 100 with her debut track “These Heaux.”

Subsequently, Bhabie’s fame brought to her some more opportunities such as a very lucrative OnlyFans account, besides her brand deals with fashion retailers and more.

Speaking to Variety, Bhabie explained: “My main business manager, who’s been with me since I was like 15, when my mom had control of everything, tells me, ‘Everyone thinks that you’re going to blow it, but I think you’re going to do great,’” she said. “And when I turned 18, I started making so much money when I started doing OnlyFans. And when I say making money, I mean, I could retire right now if I wanted to.”

While the femcee and her team believe she could be even bigger on the music scene if her record label made the right decisions during promotion, insiders claim the rapper’s streaming figures remain lackluster.

“It’s hard to take her seriously,” an industry insider told Variety. “She’s promoting acting irresponsibly.”

However, Bhabie disagrees and stands by her seemingly provocative behavior, claiming that her rise to fame should be celebrated rather than chastised.

She explained:

“I never wanted to be famous,” she said. “I wasn’t working my ass off all night trying to make a name for myself. I was handed it. And instead of being an embarrassment and a joke for the rest of my life, I became something successful and something that people can choose to look up to for the right reasons — or choose not to. I don’t give a fuck.”
