Queen Bey’s ‘Lemonade’ was just declared by Rolling Stone magazine as the album of the century, with the album battling toe-to-toe with 500 other albums selected by the publication.
Rolling Stone unveiled their ‘500 Greatest Albums of All Time’ list today and Lemonade sat at #32 out of the 500 albums listed.

The Publication declared the project as Beyonce’s ‘most expansive and personal statement, tapping into marital breakdown and the state of the nation. It was a different side than she’d shown before, raging over infidelity and jealousy, but revealing in the militant-feminist-funk strut of “Formation”.’
Adding: “Ashes to ashes, dust to side chicks — all hail the queen.”
‘Lemonade’ beats some of the best albums of all times such as Mariah Carey’s ‘The Emancipation of Mimi‘, Aaliyah’s ‘One in A Million’, and Amy Winehouse.
This was no small feat for Bey to achieve, especially since the project was fuelled by the Heartbreak she endured in her marriage at the time, the jealousy, and then forgiveness.
