Ahead of Beyoncé’s Billboard 200 debut this week, the multi-Grammy Award-winner is off to a fierce start on multiple streaming services, including a new streaming record set on Spotify for the best opening-day debut for any female artist.

Bey’s “Renaissance,” which was heavily-teased weeks before its release, has already set a course to join the record books and most likely the history books, as the project is commanding massive streaming figures only days into its debut week.

The 16-track album, led by the previously released single, “Break My Soul,” has earned the record for Spotify’s biggest opening-day streams for any album by a female artist globally, with a staggering 43.25 million streams.

More impressively, ‘Renaissance’ saw all of its tracks debut in the top 25 on US Spotify, with 7 tracks landing in the top 10. The album’s apparent success comes after leakers attempted to spoil the party, releasing the album merely two days before the official release.

Bey addressed the move in a statement shared on social media, thanking her fans for their “unwavering support” and slamming anyone who attempted to “sneak into the club early,” adding, “It means the world to me.”
