Bebe Rexha is opening up about her latest release, ‘Better Mistakes,’ underperforming in its initial weeks of release.

The album was released on May 7th, riding high on the success of its most recent single, “Sabotage.”

The song’s popularity, however, did not translate into massive sales of the album, which in turn debuted at a dismal #140 on the Billboard 200.

A shocking placement citing the presence of a long list of guests including Doja Cat, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Uzi Vert, and Rick Ross.

The Popstar took to Twitter to address the development with some strong words, whilst stating she’s not about to give up.

Rexha’s tweets read: “Upsetting. But I won’t give up. My career was built on failures and not following the mold. I won’t stop. I never have and never will. I still believe in this album. And I still will push. No matter what.

This ain’t no formulate pop star bullsh*t.

People so quick to give up on sh*t. Baby that’s not how you win.

One thing I will always do is keep it real.”

Despite the Popstars sentiment, some fans have taken to social media to share their love for the album and more.

All of this comes days ahead of Bebe Rexha’s Livestream concert, set for 20th May and fans are so excited for it.
