On the 9th of August, artists and industry leaders gathered at the GRM Gala to honor black excellence in UK music and entertainment.
The glamorous event which was held in partnership with Beats By Dre saw a star-studded attendance from the likes of AJ Tracey, Eva Apio, Fredo, Ghetts, Ivorian Doll, Krept & Konan, Michael Dapaah, Ms. Banks, Nella Rose, Stormzy, Tim Westwood, and Tion Wayne.
The illustrious event also had in attendance the likes of Adeola Patronne, Akala, DJ Semtex, Eva Apio, Krept & Konan, Miss La Familia, Tim Westwood, Tion Wayne, and Zeze Millz, all of whom are among GRM’s extended family of influential musicians and industry acquaintances that attended the distinguished event.
GRM Rated 2021 award candidates AJ Tracey, Arrdee, Fredo, Ghetts, Ivorian Doll, Michael Dapaah, Ms. Banks, Nella Rose, and Stormzy were also in attendance.
In addition to Beats By Dre were other official sponsors such as Chivas Regal Whisky and AU Vodka who the assistance of GRM Daily CEO and fonder, Post, organized an event, appropriate for what it stood for.
Post said of the event: “I was honoured to celebrate the outstanding success achieved by friends and peers at Monday’s event”.
Last year was the first time the GRM Gala was held. It was hosted at One Marylebone in Westminster in collaboration with Beats By Dr. Dre, ahead of the GRM Rated Awards 2020.
