Authorities have reportedly confiscated many firearms from ASAP Rocky’s Los Angeles residence following his arrest at LAX last week in connection with a 2021 shooting.

According to TMZ, cops raided his home last week and took several firearms with them. As per law enforcement sources, police aim to conduct ballistic testing on the guns in order to ascertain whether Rocky was the shooter in the November 2021 incident.

The firearms will also be subjected to comprehensive background checks to see whether they are stolen or belong to someone besides Rocky.

Rocky was arrested at LAX on Wednesday, April 20 while flying back from Barbados on a private plane. Following the arrest, authorities used a battering ram to enter Rocky’s home to serve the search warrant. Cops were seen leaving the residence with “a box of potential evidence,” however it’s unclear if it contained the aforementioned guns.

According to additional information obtained since ASAP’s arrest, police chose not to notify Rocky or his team in order to conduct a search at his residence at the same time.

Rocky was later released after paying a bail of $550,000 with no charges filed against the rapper as of yet. Following his arrest, murmurs began swirling that ASAP’s partner Rihanna had left him, claiming the mother-to-be had unfollowed the rapper on social media which in turn signaled her displeasure with the rapper. However, the two were later spotted at dinner only days after ASAP’s arrest.

According to the alleged victim, Rocky and two other people approached him last fall and fired at him numerous times during a disagreement. During the alleged event, a bullet “grazed his left hand,” according to the undisclosed victim.
