It’s a done deal. Angela Yee officially announced her exit from ‘The Breakfast Club.’

Angela’s confirmation comes hours after she hinted at some changes coming to the beloved radio show, tweeting: “The Breakfast Club as you know it is officially over 🫶🏽”

Following her tweet hours ago, the renowned radio host has now confirmed her exit from the iconic morning show to launch her own radio programme, “Way Up With Angela Yee,” which is also set to be housed by iHeartMedia. Yee will also be producing episodes of her podcast “Lip Service.”

While many listeners appeared supportive of Angela’s decision and ambition to start her own show, others felt she’d disappointed by not informing her listeners much earlier, to which Yee responded by saying: “I’m still here for at least a month.”

Furthermore, her co-hosts Charlamagne tha God and DJ Envy hinted at the possibility of Yee staying on the show until later this year.

Following its launch in 2010, The Breakfast Club, which has since been hosted by all three co-hosts, was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame this year.
