Following a series of teasers on his social media, UK rapper Aitch has now unveiled the name of his much-awaited first album, ‘Close To Home,’ alongside the album’s cover art.

Taking to social media to announce the album, Aitch revealed that the project will be released on August 19th, with a new single ‘1989 set ‘to drop on Friday, 20th May.

As per the press release, ‘Close To Home’ is described as a “love letter to the city which shaped him.” Since his debut in 2018, Aitch has had seven UK Top 10 singles and two UK Top 10 records, with the most recent being “Baby” featuring Ashanti.

Sharing about his forthcoming album, Aitch wrote on his Twitter account, “This one means a lot.”

“The past 4 years have been crazy thank you to everyone that’s been involved I can’t appreciate you enough, whether you been here from the start or not I got nothing but love.”

Adding, “A lot of different emotions went into this I can’t wait to share it with u lot! Came this far without dropping an album and that’s all because of you, thank you for being patient with me […] let’s see how far this one takes us.”
