Reports have Travis and Greg McMichael filing a motion to prevent prosecutors from using ‘Victim’ to address Arbery as they believe their act was self-defense.
The two white men allegedly chased the young Black man down with their truck and then shot and killed him after a struggle. Their reasoning for this new motion is that a conclusion can’t be reached before the verdict since they pled not guilty to the charge.
Along with their absurd request, they asked that only a photo of Arbery “in life” is allowed to be shown during the trial and no family member of Arbery be allowed to ID him in court.
