After securing planning approval, Adele is allegedly spending £2 million to create a luxurious mega-mansion in London.

The 33-year-old singer is believed to have paid £11 million for two adjoining properties in Kensington’s upscale district and will be combined upon completion as her new home.

Her ideal home, which is expected to be completed soon, would reportedly contain a 1,000-square-foot bedroom, which is twice the size of the ordinary London flat.

“This is a home fit for one of the biggest stars on the planet,” a source told The Mirror. “There’s no expense spared.”

According to reports, the lavish new home would have four stories, three en-suite bedrooms, and a large playroom for her eight-year-old son Angelo, whom she shares with her ex-husband Simon Konecki.

Adele’s master suite will take up the whole first floor, equipped with a fancy glass-floored corridor that emphasizes a large amount of space. To be included is a separated man and woman bathroom, which comes in handy for the newly revealed couple (Adele spotted with new boyfriend Rich Paul).

The new project is being built out by Elston Developments and architect Michaelis Boyd Associates, according to documents obtained by The Mirror.

These aren’t the only properties the ‘Hello’ singer has acquired in recent years though, as Adele in an effort to maintain the family dynamic after her separation from Simon in April 2019, purchased a $10.65 million six-bedroom home across the street in order to have her ex-husband nearby for the sake of Angelo.

Adele’s recent acquisition was initially purchased for $6.7 million by Richie and Madden in 2015 and is located just across the street from her BFF Lawrence.
