Adele who made her musical comeback on New York comedy TV show SNL has returned to London after spending the first lockdown in LA.
She was spotted dining with a friend at Chiltern Firehouse on Tuesday afternoon, enjoying a final meal in the capital before the lockdown.
A source revealed to The Sun that “Adele wants to lay low while she’s here, which is easy with shades and a face mask. People don’t recognize her as they used to anymore. She’s not been able to release new music yet and she’s totally focused on that and getting each track just right. She still has a network of people she works with and links up with when she is over here.”
She gave an update on how her new album is coming along, during her episode of SNL. She said, “I know there’s been a lot of chatter about me just being a host, I’ve seen all of it like, ‘Why isn’t she the musical guest? ‘and stuff like that, and there’s a couple of reasons.’
My album is not finished and I’m also too scared to do both. I would rather just put on some wigs-and this is all mine by the way-have a glass of wine or six and just see what happens.”
Adele is expected to bring out her new album next year thanks to Covid as it was rumoured to be released in September.’
Fingers are crossed waiting for Adele’s awesomeness.
