Adele is said to be in talks to join a lengthy list of music icons, including Elvis, Celine Dion, Presley, and Mariah Carey, who saw massive success during their Las Vegas residencies, according to The Mail on Sunday.

Per sources close to the star, she’s been trying to find band members who are prepared to commit long-term, and should she manage to successfully secure a deal, she will be able to live full-time in Los Angeles and commute to Las Vegas via private aircraft for 40 minutes.

The source stated: “Adele has very recently been talking to musicians that she has worked with before to gauge their availability, to see whether they could be in Vegas for the gigs.

“It is all very exciting. It would make her a lot of money but it would also mean she could have a routine. It would be hugely lucrative for her but also really fun.

“She loves performing live and there would be no shortage of people travelling to see her once the Covid restrictions are dropped.”

Prior to the pandemic era, Adele held a 120-date world tour which managed to gross £127 million and it seems the superstar singer is eager to perform to audiences once more.

Previous residencies in Las Vegas have proven to be extremely lucrative, all the way to the 1960s, with the likes of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack who secured long-term contracts in Vegas.

However, the most recent of the list to make it huge is Celine Dion, who performed 1,100 residency concerts in the city since 2003 and grossed an incredible £450 million.

The iconic singer sold over five million tickets during her stay with her shows being hosted in Caesars Palace’s famous Colosseum.

Other successful residences have also been held by Sir Elton John, Britney Spears, Rod Stewart, Shania Twain, Cher, and Bette Midler.
