Nicki Minaj has recently been making headlines following the re-release of her highly-acclaimed ‘Beam Me Up Scotty’ mixtape and the rapper finds herself once again in the spotlight.
On June 11, the ‘Feeling Myself’ rapper stated that she had “locked in” a name for her forthcoming album during a Twitter Q&A session with fans.
Nicki was questioned by a fan on what she’s willing to spill about her forthcoming album, she answered while revealing:
“Trust me, I see all the album questions. When the time is right, you’ll get the answers to all your questions. Today is about #ForTheLoveOfNewYork I may have officially locked in on the album name tho. As of 2 days ago.”

The femcee also addressed a question which many fans often wonder, which is whether Nicki feels pressured to always be lyrical. The ‘Good Form’ rapper answered:
Not every song calls for it. Sometimes u can go mad hard & take ppl out the vibe of the song. This song so real it needed nothing but truthful bars. On other records, yes of course there’s pressure @ times. I’ll always strive for greatness. I got ppl tryin 2b lyrical too https://t.co/SIlhqDCcna

Rightly said. The Q & A session was prompted by her recently released collaboration with Polo G, ‘For the Love of New York’ and her forthcoming ‘locked in’ album will serve as the follow-up to 2018’s ‘Queen’ album.
