Taking to his social media last month, 50 Cent ridiculed Madonna when she posted eye-catching shots on Instagram, after which he later apologized but Mother Monster clapped back, labeling his apology “fake.”
The conflict began after Madonna shared provocative images in a fishnet outfit, which 50 asserted was inappropriate for a 63-year-old music diva. Madonna then retaliated by accusing 50 Cent of wanting to “humilate” her. He then apologized for offending her, saying he did “not intend” to do so.
In response to his apology, Madonna shared a video on Friday, claiming 50’s apology was “fake.”
The video which was an animated avatar of herself, saw Madonna saying:
“You were trying to shame me. Your apology is fake, it’s bullshit, and it’s not valid,” going on to say, “An apology is not valid if you don’t know what you’re apologizing for. What you should be apologizing for is your misogynistic, sexist, ageist behavior and remarks.”
She went on to explain that 50 didn’t offend her, as she “didn’t take it personally.”
Following her statements, it appears 50 has rescinded his apology and is mocking the “Live To Tell” singer once more.
50 replied to excerpts of Madonna’s speech in a carefully manipulated clip with a Purge filter, expressing his disapproval of her statements, saying, “Your feelings were hurt… You took it personally.”
Hinting at the new feud between the two, 50 captioned his post, “The Purge begins now! Hey is there a age limit for this kinda shit man, I’m asking for a friend.”
As of writing, Mother Monster has yet to reply to 50’s recent troll video.
