During a recent appearance on Chicago’s 107.5 WGCI’s morning show, Gotti shared his thoughts on DMX’s passing, claiming the Ruff Ryders legend died after smoking crack and fentanyl. Following his statement, 50 Cent taken to social media to diss Irv for his audacious remarks.
Sharing the video of Irv addressing the topic, 50 called the record producer an “idiot,” for alleging those claims.
50 wrote: “This guy is a idiot, did he just say DMX died from smoking crack and fentanyl! why would he say that?”
The official cause of death for X has yet to be released to the public, presumably in respect to the legend and his family. So, for Gotti to allege such claims is somewhat of an irresponsible act.
“They said it was a bad dose of crack, and they said some drug fentanyl was mixed in with the crack and that’s what made him overdose,” the 50-year-old told the show’s hosts. “Then when he got to the hospital, he got diagnosed with COVID and he couldn’t breathe—you know that COVID messes with your respiratory system—so that’s why he had to get hooked up to the ventilator.”
Earlier reports from when DMX was first hospitalized, claimed the rapper was admitted following a drug overdose, but a subsequent report asserted the rapper was admitted due to a cardiac event. since then, no other details have been made public.
